With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Pooja Mehta, Esq. brings a business owner’s perspective to legal representation. She focuses on contracts, real estate, franchise law, and lawsuit defense, with a strong track record in negotiating deals and securing the best terms for her clients. She is extremely active in educating the community on minimizing their legal risks, and is a Professor at San Diego State University teaching Hospitality Law. Under her management, the firm has established a reputation of trust, aggressive defense, and efficiency among clients.

Aarti Soma, Esq. is a strong advocate for business owners and immigrant families. With hands-on experience managing and operating vacation rentals, apartments and hotels, she understands the day-to-day operations her clients face. Mrs. Soma’s legal practice areas include landlord-tenant law, bed bug litigation, ADA defense, franchise negotiations, and immigration. Her unique blend of operational insight and legal expertise allows her to offer strategic solutions that protect her clients’ investments and peace of mind.

For over 30 years, William Steiner, Esq. has enjoyed a diverse experience as a litigator, law instructor and Administrative Law Judge for the State of California. Mr. Steiner handles litigation through trial for employment, workers’ compensation and personal injury law cases. Since 2006, he has been a specialist in workers’ compensation law certified by the State of California Board of Legal Specialization.

Dan Robinson, Esq. is an experienced commercial litigator who has represented major corporations at large international law firms throughout California. He has represented companies such as JPMorgan Chase, Samsung, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs in jurisdictions around the United States, as well as in international tribunals and the Federal Trade Commission. Before entering private practice, Mr. Robinson served as a law clerk for a federal judge in the Central District of California.

Darshan Patel, Esq. is a business-minded attorney with deep roots in the business industry. With firsthand experience as an owner of hotels, multi-family, and other investments, he brings a uniquely informed perspective to the legal challenges facing businesses. Darshan leverages his operational insight alongside a strong command of federal and state law to resolve legal disputes. He is known for delivering strategic and smart legal solutions.

Jeremiah Graham is a litigation attorney actively representing clients in state and federal courts. At DPA, he focuses on defending employers in the hospitality industry, drawing on his experience in regulatory compliance and transactional work.

Matt Arnold concentrates his practice on defending disability access discrimination claims under both the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California state accessibility standards. He works closely with many corporate clients in the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

He has also handled many real estate transactions, including purchase and sale contracts, leases, and franchise agreements.

Tejal oversees all aspects of the Firm’s financial operations and functions. She prepares and processes accounts receivables, payables, and client invoicing. 

Huy Doan assists our legal team compiling legal documents, gathering information, and improving administrative processes to maximize workflow.

Jenny Hopper provides administrative support to our lawyers. She communicates with witnesses, clients, and associates to ensure efficient case management.
